SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Seaside hosted a high school football tour as a new league worked to reshape the local sport; the Spartans struggled with only 38 players while Nathaniel Bell, a three-year starter, led the team—highlighting the program's challenges. Monterey Herald
- ➤ Stevenson High football coach Kyle Cassamas said the team will move to Mission Division South this fall—despite 14 players opting out and leaving only 23 varsity players.
