On Saturday a motorcycle club delivered holiday gifts and necessities to local families as part of its annual 'Adopt a Fam Jam' initiative in Salinas.
The club adopted six families and local voices praised the effort for brightening hundreds of kids' day & enhancing community support.

Veteran Drew Webb released his book Unbreakable Valor in June, a fictionalized account of his military service that examines how veterans heal from deep moral wounds, and it is available on Amazon in hardcover, softcover and Kindle + an Audible version coming soon.

In Monterey County, Realtor.com data shows the median home price dropped 5.4% from $925,000 in August to $875,000 in September (with condo prices falling 23%), even as recorded home sales increased by 7.6% since last year.
