  • The Cowboys high school football team beat Alisal on Friday in a playoff tuneup game—after 13 weeks of practice, the team showed progress despite several setbacks.  Monterey Herald
  • St. Francis Sharks coach Frank Galvan was awarded the Golden Whistle Award after turning the flag football program at his small school into the top-ranked team on the Central Coast.
