Today, officials held a ribbon cutting to open the Pure Water Monterey expansion that now gives the Peninsula more than 60% of its water supply and raises capacity from 5 million to 7.6 million gallons a day.

Busway project, a 6-mile bus-only corridor along the Monterey Branch Line right-of-way from Marina through Sand City and Seaside—designed to reduce congestion and cut emissions. The project is part of a plan to improve transit connections and air quality on the Monterey Peninsula.
