- ➤ Police in Oldtown Salinas arrested a suspect after a shop window was vandalized two days ago and are now asking for help to identify a man in white who allegedly kicked and cracked the door window of El Colibri on the 300 block of Main Street early Sunday morning, leaving local businesses with nearly a thousand dollars in repair costs. - ➤ A Monterey County man arrested in April for a stolen car now faces new felony charges for illegal firearms, ammunition, and drugs after a search warrant at his home recovered the items—authorities said the CHP-led task force included Watsonville police, the Santa Cruz District Attorney's Office, and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
