Three bodies were recovered after a small plane crashed off the Pacific Grove coast on July 26th—officials said they are working to identify the victims as the Coast Guard and NTSB continue to investigate.
A private aircraft headed to Monterey from San Carlos crashed into the ocean near Sunset Drive & Jewell Avenue in Pacific Grove late Saturday, killing all three passengers including Salinas native Steve Clatterbuck while the Coast Guard recovered the victims Sunday morning as the National Transportation Safety Board investigates the cause.
