  • A Greenfield man was detained by ICE agents on Wednesday at 4:30 a.m. on El Camino Real while driving to work—local police were unaware of the operation and he is now held at an ICE detention facility.  KSBW

  • Sen. Adam Schiff toured Braga Fresh’s farm in Soledad on Wednesday to see its regenerative Carbon Capture Farming Technology — a method that improves soil health and cuts CO2 emissions while calling for stronger support for specialty crop farms. He and Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas stressed the need for stable tariffs and a reliable workforce to help California farmers amid ongoing challenges.  KSBW
  • California Attorney General Rob Bonta issued a legal opinion declaring all daily online fantasy sports platforms illegal because they involve betting on sports—this move follows a request by lawmakers amid debates over sports wagering.
