ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Del Monte Boulevard was shut down in Marina Tuesday afternoon after a multi-car crash around 2 p.m. in the north part of the city between Beach Road and Marina Greens Drive+ police advised motorists to avoid the area until further notice. KSBW
- ➤ A multi-vehicle crash closed Del Monte Boulevard after 2 p.m. in Marina involving three cars—traffic was blocked in both directions while crews investigated the scene. KION
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ California Rodeo Salinas said that Blake Shelton will perform at the big week kick-off concert on June 27—tickets start at $60, and the contest will be held from July 1 to July 3, presented by Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Four finalists will compete for the crown, a $3,000 college scholarship, a trophy buckle, a tiara, a two-horse trailer for a year and other prizes as the winner serves as an ambassador at local events. - ➤ The Arts Council for Monterey County known as Arts4MC announced it will award 16 local organizations up to $7,500 each through the 2025 Community Arts Grants to fund public arts programs like festivals, workshops, murals and exhibits. The grants will support creative projects and help make the arts accessible throughout Monterey County. KION

- ➤ KSBW 8 is teaming up with United Way Monterey County — along with United for San Benito and United Way of Santa Cruz County — to collect school supplies for students on the Central Coast.
