- ➤ On June 10, officers stopped a vehicle near Oak Avenue after Henry Ruben Ramirez from Salinas showed signs of intoxication and refused sobriety tests, and during his arrest in Greenfield police discovered a ghost Glock-style handgun — loaded magazines, a sword, a dirk, slingshots and masks, leading to his booking into Monterey County Jail on multiple felony charges. - ➤ PG&E flipped the switch on its Del Monte substation to boost power on the Monterey Peninsula—this upgrade is expected to shorten outages, improve service during disasters, and support growing EV use and new housing as more developments come online. KION
