The SPCA Monterey County seeks fosters to care for over 187 puppies and kittens that need bottle feedings, with all food, litter, and veterinary care provided.

A workshop will be held on June 13 to teach interested participants proper feeding techniques.

On June 6, Hitchcock Road Animal Services in Salinas will host free pet adoption on California Adopt a Pet Day, offering complimentary spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchipping while providing counseling (to help match pets with families) and a photo booth for new adopters.
