- ➤ Lawmakers criticized a state library program for mismanaging $1 million intended to distribute Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library books, and an audit is set for year-end. Meanwhile, a free youth-led art event celebrating mental health research will run today at the Sunset Center in Carmel from 5 to 8 p.m. KAZU
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ SNIP Bus held a spay and neuter clinic on Monday at San Lorenzo Park in King City, treating 170 pets using four mobile units to address overpopulation in underserved communities. Families paid $25 to $50 and left with pet food, leashes, and collars; additional clinics are planned in Soledad next month and in Greenfield in June. KSBW
