- ➤ Dr. Melissa Nothnagle received the Nikitas J. Zervanos Outstanding Program Director Award for her dedication to mentoring residents and meeting local health needs — a recognition of her leadership at Natividad. Monterey Herald

- ➤ Alvarez graduate Victoria Castillo and Notre Dame product Tori Cervantes are in their senior season with St. Mary's softball team and will close their college careers this season. They will compete in upcoming games at the school field. Monterey Herald
