  • Freshman Kaimi Tulua has driven in 15 runs in 32 at bats for the Syracuse softball team this spring while raising her average to .344. She also hit a home run and is key as a pinch hitter after playing at Seaside High.  Monterey Herald
  • On Saturday, Monterey Bay FC took first in the Western Conference after a late goal by Mayele Malango gave them a 2-1 win over defending champion Colorado Springs at Cardinale Stadium — the team earned its best start in franchise history with 13 points after six games and will visit Lexington SC next Saturday.  Monterey Herald
  • The boys’ tennis rankings have been released with Stevenson first and Monte Vista at tenth while teams on the bubble include Salinas — along with Oakwood, Alisal, Rancho San Juan, and Harbor — setting up a competitive season.  Monterey Herald
