ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A new study called the Zero Emissions Shared Mobility Study outlines a plan for Monterey and Salinas to build mobility hubs that add car shares, EV charging stations, and *bike libraries* for zero-emission travel. - ➤ A new construction phase on SR-183 (Merritt Street) in Castroville will start this week, with sidewalk, curb, and roadway work planned from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on select blocks and minor delays expected; the $38 million project will finish by 2028. KSBW
