  • KSBW and local hospitals sponsor a four-day blood drive across the Central Coast to help maintain blood supplies for emergencies. Donor spots remain available, especially today at Mee Memorial Hospital in King City (South Monterey County) as part of National Blood Donor Month.  KSBW

  • Monterey County’s median single-family home price ended 2025 at $900K — 3% lower from December 2024 and 5.26% above the state median — while rising inventory and sales hint at improved homebuying prospects as policy talks continue for 2026.  Monterey Herald
